Family Country Home

The project required a facade upgrade for an existing building alongside the design of a new family country home. The proposed design would create a focal meeting point for 9 families of an average size of 4. Blending in with the existing building, a new building would include facilities to support modern living.

Sitting roughly on a 7400sqm lot, the country home project created astonishing breath-taking views from its interiors, with a major living area overlooking the pool and a barbecue place. Large dining areas for family meals, an open courtyard to spend late evenings with the elderly while recreating childhood memories and bringing the outdoor indoors in other places. Sleeping areas allowed privacy for the older folks while the kids’ areas are zoned to allow for maximum play and interaction with siblings, nephews, nieces and cousins. Materials are sourced locally to complement the building’s proximity to nature.
