Project Name: Lekki Gardens Interactive
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Year: 2013
Project Details
In mid 2013, Chronos Studeos was hired to produce 3D visualizations for the ongoing Lekki gardens projects, a teeming provider of housing along Lekki-Epe expressway. The project brief entailed compiling these works (2D rendered plans, 3D visualizations, animations and 3D cutplane renders) in a video jingle and also in an interactive presentation format for prospective buyers. It was quite a chunk of work with many prototypes and of course, a short project duration. Project review was just once which made it quick to deliver to the client’s expectation.
Chronos’ moments
The team was delighted to work on the animations and interactive multimedia. Using clear cut multimedia scripting alongside other Adobe applications, compiling the 3D renderings and animations was done with much ease. However, the volume of 3D renderings generated from cutplanes and interior shots were quite numerous which made the scripting stall as every piece of render had to be in the right place, with the right tween transitions and with the right titles.

Hello Hassan, I am so impressed with what I’m seeing, kudos! Please I am a final year student of Architecture at Federal Poly, Oko. I’ve struggled to make my designs look like what you have but I’m constrained with Archicad and Artlantis studio. Please what BIM software and rendering software do you work with? thanks and cheers!
Hi Obinwanne.. Archicad is fantastic, I am not so certain about Artlantis. Usually, we use Archicad and Revit then 3Dsmax and Vray to render. Wishing you all the best
Thanks for the clarification. I’ll have to get a 3Dmax software and Vray.
